It was my birthday a few weeks ago, (if you didn’t know this then you haven’t been reading this blog, dammit!).

My parents wanted me to get ‘something special’ cos it was a big birthday .. they will spend 250 quid on my present..

As you’ll have noticed, from the first line of this post, that was a few weeks ago… and I still can’t think of anything to get ...

I don’t wear jewellry (not expensive stuff anyway), and don’t wear a watch, so the easy options are no good..

Current thinking is a portable dvd player, which, whilst undoubtably cool, I’m not sure when I’d ever use.
