Towards the end of last year I kinda lost interest in this blog, and in the cartoons.
There was no good reason for this, but there was a bad one ... the Weblog Review ..
There really is no reason why a bad review should put me off blogging, I’m under no illusions about my writing style or ability .. but blogging / cartooning was something I enjoyed doing .. until I got the bad review .. and then suddenly I didn’t enjoy it anymore.
I have found a new interest in it again now, it just suprised me how badly I handled criticism!
That latest blog entry sucked
I didn’t think the reviews were that bad: I bet it could have been a lot worse!
Made me smile that I got a mention in it too!

Whats the deal with people rating a guys personal blog?
Would you rate a guys diary?
The point is you enjoy writing/drawing them, we enjoy reading them. Of course the last reviewer isn’t going to be thrilled to bits, he doesn’t know you or any off the people you blog about. Its like trying to rate a magazine about football when you know nothing about the game, like me. It just wouldn’t appeal.
Regardless of what they think (and i hasten to add it got good overall reviews) you can be buoyed by the knowledge that part of my early morning ritual when i get to work includes checking this blog for updates.
My early morning ritual includes checking Less Than Daily too.

None of the three reviews were bad, and the rating they give is out of 5 (not 10) so two of the three reviewers giving you 3.5 is actually pretty good.
