The more observant amongst you will have noti.. ok so none of you will have spotted it, but Monkeys Like Us cartoons are a little more regular now.

There’s a new cartoon published every Friday at 6 .. check back here tonight at 6 if you don’t believe me!

I’m not sure whether I’ll stick with this, I’ll see how it goes.

I started cos I was annoying myself by not doing any for weeks, then doing nothing but MLU.  I want a healthy mix of blogs and MLU.  This way there should be one MLU a week, and at least a couple of blogs in between.

One drawback is that it means MLU blogs often get put back by weeks at a time cos something more topical comes up that takes it’s place that Friday.  (There are currently about 6 cartoons waiting to be published), and the one you’ll see next week has lost it’s slot a number of times, most recently for tonights cartoon, which is topical.

Well ... it’s 20 years after the event that inspired it, but that’s about as topical as I get..

Anyway, soon MLU will have it’s own site ... not because I think they deserve one, but because I love fiddling with my site code, and right now, the site is Exactly how I want it to be.. I’ve got rid of the side menu that annoyed me, which means the site works in all common screen res’s.  It also works in all common browsers (although not as well in IE as the others).  I’ve got rid of the nasty drop down links thing, and have links appearing in a way I’m really proud of.  And although at first I got loads of complaints about the colours giving people headaches, and not being work friendly ... I really like my site.

So it’s time to fiddle with something different, an MLU site Might even buy it a domain.
