I got a new phone the other week, bought it off ebay.  Paid 250 quid for it.

Decided today to upgrade it with files downloaded from the internet (never a wise idea), and with the expert help of pixie (see previous bracketed comment).

It was a 15 minute job, and would allow my mobile to do all sorts of wonderful new stuff.

It took 7 hours.
