Anyone who’s heard me rant about it will know just how much I dislike [hate] Peter Crouch. He is inept and it’s an embarrassment that he’s a Liverpool player.
However this isn’t another rant from me, just something I saw on the Liverpool website which I thought was funny.
Ex England manager Bobby Robson was asked to comment on just how great the Liverpool team was, he was full of praise for all the players.. but see if you can spot the one player he couldn’t think of a single good thing to say about:

Yesterdays result from Singapore that London has been awarded the Olympics in 2012 is fantastic news, I am well chuffed.
Paris were by far the run-away favourites, and Londons win was heavily against the odds.
It really made my day 
Not cos of the poxy athletics though.. when the Olympics eventually do come around I’ll try to avoid actually watching any of it, to me it’s just dull.
It’s not even beating the French, altho that’s always good.
My joy is based on the hefty bet I had placed on the ‘heavily against the odds’ London win ;p
I’ve got a new ‘thing that winds me up’
Charles and Camilla are getting married this weekend .. I don’t really care about that. It makes no difference to me.
They’ve been in love for a long time, and finally decided to commit to each other ...
... and the entire media seems to have devoted itself to finding at least one story a day to turn the public against the wedding.
It’s now become the latest fashionable bandwagon for people to jump onto.
Which automatically means I get annoyed.

.. if you’re gonna play the new Doctor Who, do it properly.
It was Eccleston who approached them asking to be considered for the role, to then bail out just as the show stands a chance of re-establishing itself just sucks.

Trevor Mcdonald just said of Ellen MacArthur “she’s literally sailed through Hell and high water”.
Either her journey around the world took her somewhere quite unexpected..
Or Trevor and I have different understandings of the word “literally”
