I never do movie reviews, I go to the cinema a lot, and I’m generally easy to please, so I don’t make a good critic…

...however....

I’ve seen two films lately that are worth mentioning, on opposite ends of the scale.. one was heavily hyped, the other.. based on a theme park ride..

I’ve been looking forwards to the Hulk for a long time.. I believed all the hype.. I watched the film ... well some of it.. after an hour I walked out.

I’d heard there was a Pirates of the Caribbean movie coming out.. based on the ride at Disneyland.. what a crap concept for a film that is…

but I went to see it… then saw it again, again, and once more.  Is is without doubt the best film I’ve seen in a long time.

Captain Jack Sparrow is simply the best pirate ever.

I wish I could draw, it’s one thing I really do wish I could do. 

I don’t want to draw properly .. with realistic looking bowls of fruit and trees and stuff (although drawing naked women like Leanardo DiCaprio does in Titanic would be cool).. I just wanna be able to draw cartoon style.

I run so many cool roleplaying characters, I would love to be able to just put them down on a piece of paper .. but I can’t.. I’m terrible at drawing.

I’m really really bad.

But I thought the Friesian joke was so bad it deserved re-telling.

So I cheated!

Explanitory Note: Friesian sounds like freezing .. but it was actually very hot there..
